What ages are your programs designed for?

Our Camp programs are suitable for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced player, our Camps offer a comprehensive tennis experience tailored to meet the needs of every participant.

While our Performance and Academy programs specifically target competitive players between the ages of 12 and 18, our Camps are open to adults and children over the age of 7 yrs.

Whether you’re a young child, a teenager, or an adult, our Camp programs provide a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone to enjoy and improve their tennis skills.

What language is the training held in?

The primary language used at the Academy is English. Nevertheless, certain coaches are proficient in additional languages such as Croatian, Italian, German, Slovak, and Czech. It’s important to be aware that we cannot ensure the availability of a coach who speaks your preferred language.

What does the training schedule look like for an intensive camp?

Our intensive (full-day) camp program follows a structured training schedule designed to provide a comprehensive tennis experience. Here’s a breakdown of the daily schedule:

MONDAY, TUESDAY, THURSDAY, and FRIDAY (am and pm sessions):

Participants engage in a total of 3 hours of tennis training per day (1.5h in the mornings and 1.5h in the afternoons), focusing on improving their technical skills, tactical understanding, and overall gameplay.

There are 3 hours allocated for warm-up and fitness activities (1.5h in the mornings and 1.5h in the afternoons). These sessions aim to enhance participants’ physical conditioning, agility, and endurance.

WEDNESDAY and SATURDAY (am sessions only):

Participants have 1.5 hours of tennis training where they can further refine their skills and practice different aspects of the game.
There is an additional 1.5 hour dedicated to warm-up and fitness exercises, before and/or after the tennis session.

While this schedule provides a general outline, it’s important to note that we cannot guarantee specific hours. However, this setup represents the typical structure of our summer camps. Please be aware that the schedule for camps held throughout the remainder of the year may be subject to revisions based on the specific camp and its duration. Our experienced coaches ensure a balance between intensive tennis training and physical conditioning to help participants develop their skills, improve their fitness levels, and foster an overall love for the sport.

What does the training schedule look like for a half-day camp?

The half-day Camp program takes place from Monday to Saturday in the morning hours, and offers a structured training schedule that maximizes participants’ time on the court while incorporating essential warm-up and fitness sessions.

Here is an overview of the typical daily schedule:

Each day of the camp includes:

1.5 hours dedicated to tennis training. Participants will focus on honing their technical skills, improving their gameplay, and enhancing their overall performance.

Additionally, there are a warm-up and fitness sessions for 1.5 hours. These sessions aim to prepare participants physically, improve their conditioning, and enhance their agility.

What time do the morning and afternoon sessions begin and end?

The training schedule for our camps may vary depending on factors such as the number of programs running simultaneously and the number of players in attendance.

The morning sessions typically begin between 8:00 and 10:00, while the afternoon sessions generally start between 14:00 and 16:00.
However, please note that these timings are subject to change depending on the above-mentioned factors.

We strive to accommodate participants’ needs and ensure a suitable schedule for all. Rest assured, we will provide you with the exact start and end times of the morning and afternoon sessions once the camp details are finalised.

What do Camp program prices include?

Our Camp program prices cover tennis and fitness sessions only. Accommodation and meals are not included but can be booked when booking the camp program.

The Academy’s facilities are situated within the Vitality Hotel Punta in Veli Lošinj. As part of our commitment to providing a seamless experience, we highly recommend considering the accommodation options offered by our esteemed partner, Lošinj Hotels & Villas (LH&V).

Through our web page Book a camp, you can book a camp program and accommodation in Vitality Hotel Punta. All other accommodation options are available upon request through our Contact form.

How many players are there per court/coach?

There are a maximum of 4 players per court/coach.

What is the minumum/maximum age requirement for a Camp program?

The minimum age requirement for our programs is 7 years old. We do not have a maximum age restriction as participation is based on the individual’s level of fitness and ability. We welcome participants of all ages who meet the minimum age requirement and are able to actively engage in the program.

Can I leave my child alone for the duration of the camp?

Children who are 14 years old and above may be allowed to stay at the Academy without an escort, subject to prior consent provided by their parents or legal guardians. We prioritize the safety and well-being of all participants, and parental consent is necessary for unaccompanied stays.

Please note that specific guidelines and procedures may apply, and we encourage parents or legal guardians to contact us directly to discuss the details and make appropriate arrangements for their child’s stay at the Academy.

What if I choose an intensive program but find it too intense?

If you find the intensive full-day program too intense for your preferences or fitness level, you have the option to switch to a half-day program. To make this change, please inform us as soon as possible, and we will assist you in arranging the switch. However, please note that we cannot provide reimbursement for the expenses of the intensive program. Our main focus is to ensure that you have a positive and enjoyable experience during the camp.

What if I choose a half-day program and wish to switch to an intensive full-day program?

If you initially choose a half-day program and later decide that you would like to switch to an intensive full-day program, you can inquire about the possibility of making that change during the week. If it is feasible to accommodate the switch, you will be able to upgrade to the intensive full-day program by making an additional payment. We recommend contacting our team as soon as possible, to discuss the availability and necessary arrangements.

Do you offer weekend-only camps?

Currently, our camp programs are structured from Mondays to Saturdays, and we don’t offer weekend camps. However, we encourage you to consider joining our 6-day camp programs and opting for a half-day program while taking advantage of enjoying other amenities and activities that the splendid Island of Lošinj has to offer.

What is the minimum number of camp days I can book?

The minimum duration for any of our camps is 6 days, spanning from Monday to Saturday. We have designed our programs to provide a comprehensive and immersive experience over the course of a week. This timeframe allows participants to fully engage in the training, activities, and benefits offered by our camp. Please keep in mind that shorter durations or weekend-only options are not available.

Is there a maximum number of camps I can book?

There is no maximum limit on the number of camps that you can book. You are welcome to sign up for multiple camps according to your preferences and availability. We encourage you to explore our various camp options and select the ones that align with your interests and schedule.

Can I rent courts at your Academy?

On-site court rentals are available. However, please note that these courts cannot be reserved in advance. Instead, they operate on a first-come, first-served basis. If you’re interested in renting a court, we recommend arriving early to secure your desired playing time. Our staff will be available to assist you with court availability and any additional information you may need.

Do you offer individual tennis sessions?

Please note that in general, we do not provide individual lessons as a standalone service. However, for participants who have booked our Camp programs, there may be opportunities to book additional individual lessons or packages based on court and coach availability. Please inquire about this option through our Contact form.

What are your payment options for Camp programs?

Camp programs can be booked and paid for using a variety of payment options. We accept credit cards, such as Mastercard, Maestro, Visa, Diners, Discovery, as well as payments through Google Pay. To secure your spot in the camp, you can make your booking and payment through our website.

However, for Performance and Academy programs, the payment arrangements are determined directly with clients. Please contact us for more information regarding payment options for these specific programs.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing to the email address: [email protected].

The cancellation policy for Camp programs (intensive full-day camp and half-day camp) is as follows:
– If the Buyer cancels more than 30 calendar days prior to the start date of the Camp, they are entitled to a refund of 75% of the total Camp cost.
– If the Buyer cancels between 15 and 30 calendar days before the start date of the Camp, they are entitled to a refund of 50% of the total Camp cost.
– If the Buyer cancels less than 15 days from the start date of the Camp, they are not eligible for any refund.
In the event of justifiable and verifiable reasons for cancelling the Camp during its duration, the Buyer is entitled to a Voucher for tennis and fitness training. The value of the Voucher is equal to the proportion of the cancelled days and is valid for 365 days from the date of cancellation.

Severe or unfavourable weather conditions do not justify the cancellation of the booked Camp and do not warrant a refund. If outdoor training sessions cannot take place due to unfavourable weather conditions, the Academy will offer the Participant the option of playing on indoor courts. In such cases, the agreed-upon training volume may differ, and the Academy reserves the right to modify the Participants’ schedules and allow more players per court than usual during a training session.

In the event of exceptional events or force majeure that make it impossible to continue with the booked Camp, the Academy is not obliged to refund fees already paid. However, the Academy will make every effort to find a satisfactory alternative to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.

The Academy reserves the right to remove any Participant who, in the opinion of Academy staff, is not physically or mentally capable of safely participating in the booked Camp program.

The cancellation policy for booked accommodation is as follows:
– If the Buyer cancels 15 days prior to the accommodation arrival date, they are entitled to a full refund of the total accommodation cost.
– If the Buyer cancels within the 15-day period prior to arrival, they are not eligible for any refund.

How do I sign up for Academy and Performance programs?

Once you have submitted the form, our team will review your request and promptly get back to you with all the necessary details and a personalised offer for the package you have chosen. How do I reach Ljubicic Tennis Academy?

Ljubicic Tennis Academy is located on the island of Lošinj, which can be accessed by car, bus, ferry, catamaran, or private planes through the Ćunski airport. While the airport serves domestic and international traffic, please note that regular commercial flights are not available.
